Annual Review Meeting For Unicef Supported Project In The Education Sector In KP

ISU-DoE&SE recently hosted its Annual Review Meeting for UUNICEF Pakistansupported projects in the Education Sector in KP. The meeting highlighted significant impacts in areas such as Learning Difficulties, Early Childhood Education, and the role of Parent Teacher Councils in public schools. Discussions also centered around Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Resilience, and Emergency Flood Relief efforts, all made possible through collaboration with UNICEF. Chaired by Additional Secretary Education, Jahangir Azam, the meeting saw the participation of key stakeholders, including UNICEF’s Education Specialist, Syed Fawad Ali Shah, officials from the Education and Climate Change Departments, and 20 District Education Officers from across KP. UNICEF’s ongoing support and guidance have been instrumental in the Education Department’s initiatives, with ISU-ISU, in partnership with UNICEF, positively impacting millions of children in KP. Their joint efforts aim to ensure inclusive education and promote safe, resilient public schools and communities.
